ELGs stands for Early Learning Goals. These are the statements found under each area of development at the end of the Early Learning Outcomes for 40-60+ months.
These statements indicate the type of things children should be able to do by the time they are 5 years old and ready to leave Reception Class.
good idea of what they are working towards and where improvements need to be made to support children who maybe struggling or falling behind.
