Ingredients
1/4 White cabbage
1/4 small onion
2 large grated carrots
1tbp vinegar
4 tbp mayonnaise
Salt and ground black pepper to taste
Method
- Chop up the white cabbage so it resembles thin sticks or grate it if you prefer smaller pieces, grate the carrots.
- Finely chop up the onion.
- Combine all the above in a large bowl.
- Add the salt and pepper, mayonnaise and vinegar.
- Mix together then let it sit in the refrigerator for an hour before you serve.
Top Tips:
Make coleslaw fresh so that it is nice and crunchy, and not limp and soggy after a day.
