Canals and bridges have a natural appeal. Why not spend a day visiting a canal and even riding on a barge, through the locks and showing how cargo used to be carried through the countries waterways.

Walk along bridges and see how many different types there are. Look at their shape. Are they built on arches or suspension bridges? Do they carry people, cars or trains?
