When purchasing a fish net buy the largest size possible. This will mean you are able to cover a larger area as you are trying to catch your fish, hence making it more difficult to slip past you down the sides. This will reduce the amount of time chasing them around the tank and reduce their stress. However don’t get one that is too big that it catches on everything in your tank if you happen to have a small tank. Weigh up the pros and cons. before buying the one you need. Also factor in the length of the handle, as a longer handle will be better suited to a large tank, than a short handle.
