Fruit Salads

As well as being one or more of your five a day, fruit salads are another great way to get all those nutrients that you need.

You can make a fruit salad by combining any fruits you like but the best ones have a variety of colour as well as size and texture. Here are some combinations for you to try.

  1. Pomegranate, mango cubes, pineapple chunks
  2. kiwi slices, strawberry slices, blueberries, raspberries and nectarine slices
  3. watermelon and blueberries
  4. Apple cubes, pear cubes, tangerine slices, green grapes and red grapes
  5. Banana slices, pomegranate, kiwi, mandarin slices, apple chunks, pear chunks
  6. Grapes, nectarines, strawberries and blackberries
  7. blackberry, mango, dragon fruit, blueberry, kiwi
  8. honeydew melon, cherries and berries

Top Tip:

Serve with crème fraiche, yoghurt, cream, ice cream or even fromage frais
