By 10 months old, babies grow up fast. Parents can talk to their babies and expect to be understood or get an appropriate response. Simple phrases should be used to stop babies or correct their behavior as they now start to get into situations you don’t want them to get into. If babies are able to roll, crawl or sit at this point, then parents need to discuss this with their pediatrician. Babies can now:
• Move toys and objects from one hand to the other
• Stand while holding on to things such as furniture or people’s hands (some can walk at this young stage)
• Pull themselves up to stand when holding on to furniture
• Gets upset if toys and objects are taken away from them
• They also take a keen interest in books, photos and pictures
