Babies now become toddlers and share a special bond with their parents. Parents also know what their infants like and dislike. Parents are more able to communicate with their babies, and baby can also:
• Shake their head for ‘no’
• Crawl
• Walk (some babies need a little help for the next month or two with this)
• Dance to music
• Show an interest in books
• Explore, opening and shutting doors
• Climbs on toys and furniture
• Will share toys more easily
• Are afraid of strangers
• Understand and follow simple, instructions.
• Becomes attached to items
• Shares belongings for short periods of time
• Feeds themselves messily
• Will let you know when they have done something or finished doing something.
