Serves 4-6 Cooking and prep time: 45 minutes
Ingredients
1 packet of pizza base mix
2 tomatoes
4 cups of chopped fresh spinach
2 cups of Italian cheese
1/2 cup of Alfredo sauce:-
- 1/4 cup of butter
- 1 cup of double cream
- 1 clove of crushed garlic
- 1 1/2 cups of grated cheese (preferably parmesan or equivalent)
- 1/4 cup chopped parsley
Method
- Make the Alfredo sauce by melting butter in a medium saucepan over a low heat. Add cream and simmer for 5 minutes. Add the cheese and garlic, whisk to mix and stir in parsley.
- Set aside to cool down.
- Prepare the pizza base according to the packet instructions.
- Place dough onto a greased 12-in tin and press down to make a pizza base.
- Spread the Alfredo over the base, leaving an inch gap around the edge.
- Top with thinly sliced or chopped tomatoes, spinach and cheese.
- Bake in the oven for 10-15 minutes or until the crust and cheese are golden brown.
